BISUTUN the oldest writing in Ancient Persian period

Our sources and information’s about ancient Persian and hakhamanesh dynasty are from myths and ancient stories .

 At the first , Europeans familiar with Bisutun inscription and cuneiforms scripts  in 1618 by Spanish ambassadors   Antonio do georoa and Doc don garsia  and dosilio dofigoero in court of king abbas first (shah abbas awal) .

In 1836 lasen and bornof   read cuneiforms script in the Bisutun .

At the same year Rawlison ( he was 25 years old English officer the counseller and governor  assistant of  Kermanshah state ) joined to them too .

Reading this inscription was been cause and base on the all rest types of  scripts .

Later Jackson the professor of Cambridge university correct the mistakes of rawlinson in reading   cuneiforms   scripts .

The inscription of Bisutun placed at 30 Km  of  Kermanshah city between of ancient road to Ekbatana  ( hamedan ) and Babel .

It is said that , name of Bisutun is popular concept that is contain of to words : Bi and Sutun   that means without culomn but the ancient name of this place have been Baghastana ( place of  the Lords )

This   inscription like the other Hakhamaneshian inscriptions was writing in 3 languages Old Persian , Eilami , Babeli  because of place of adoration near the mountain slope .

This   inscription has been craved over chest of a cliff with 150m height and gain it up is difficult .

Bisutun is the largest inscription that remind from ancient historical period in Iran .

The dimensions of  bisutun inscription are 7.80 cm height and 22m width , it is contained 1000 lines as 5 columns 515 lines in old Persian language , in the middle there are 650 lines in Eilami  language and in both sides at hieghest place of cliff and beneath of stone engraving  141 lines in akedi language .

Over 5^th column  of old Persian  there is engraving of Ahoramazda with two wings that above other engraving  and human face with beard and sun have rised between his wings and it does luminescence , over his head there is a luminous crown with  palpuses . some researchers believe that Ahoramazda is equal with Zeus ( Greece Lord ) , he have a ring in his left hand  and offer it to king Darius that show religious custom and  donate kingdom to him .

Darius have seated on throne and raise right hand for worship to Ahoramazda and kept a bow in his left hand . his height is 180 cm and he have  put his right foot on Geomata ( one of  rebels ) that their hand and one of  his foot have been burn . behind Darius in left side there are two persons from royal court one of them have bow and quiver and the other have javelin . they are smaller than Darius  ( 150 cm height ) . It is said that their names are Goberyas and Espat nias .

 There are 8 Persons  of  lebels and commander vatigra khaoda from tribe of Sakaian infront of Darius that they have 120 cm height and they have been fastened their hand and they chained together .
